![]() The main things to consider when making a character is to max out your main damage skill (guns/crossbows/melee/psi). Pure psi builds start difficult, but get much easier as you learn more and more abilities to take on mobs in different ways. Shotguns and temporal manipulation are extremely welcome additions to the game. I've not beaten the game once yet, but rolled another character, a sniper/shotgun build that uses the temporal contraction/dilation skills from the new psi tree, with points in persuasion and mercantile as well (since I'd not done that before), and it's also been a lot of fun. Psi, with a focus on telekinesis and thought control, crafting for medicines and psi gear. Crossbows + trapping, stealth, and heavy crafting focus. The two builds that I had the most fun with were. Maybe you use an adrenaline shot or a taser every now and then (if you craft) but everything revolves around bursts. Tin can assault rifle is almost certainly the easiest, but you definitely, 100% miss out on fun (IMO).Įvery fight, all you use is burst fire.
